Steam cleaning is often a preliminary treatment for ultrasonic wet cleaning. Blind holes in particular are difficult to clean properly with wet cleaning, as dirt can accumulate at the bottom of the holes during production. Steam cleaning can also be used for larger surfaces. During the steam cleaning process, ultra-clean water is heated until it becomes gaseous. This is then used under pressure through a nozzle in a very targeted manner to remove contamination from products.
